Charitable Dispensary
This centre introduced a Mobile Dispensary in 1998 to provide medical facilities to the remote and inaccessible areas of the district. The Mobile Dispensary carries Doctors, Para-medical staff and volunteers who offer free medical checkups and free medicines to all those who attend the medical camps, irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
Development of Diagnostic Centre From Dispensary
The dispensary has transformed into a full fledged Diagnostic Centre in the year 2020 with the establishment of new Building Vivekananda Bhawan.

Today, our Diagnostic Centre stands as a symbol of comprehensive healthcare. We offer a wide array of services, including pathological laboratory, X-Ray unit, and separate departments for Allopathic and Homeopathic treatments. Additionally, we have dedicated departments for Medicine, Eye, Dental, Physiotherapy, ENT, Ultrasound, and ECG, as well as a wide range of testing.

Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa
Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP) was launched as a part of the 4-year long 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Swami Vivekananda aiming at all-round development of poor children in slums and other backward areas. In Ramkrishna Math & Mission, Karimganj, Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP) started in the year 2016.
Objectives of the project
- To install moral and cultural values in children
- To provide special coaching to children in their school subjects
- To inculcate a sense of cleanliness and hygiene in children
- To provide nourishing food to children for their physical development
- To help them become good citizens of the nation
Components of the project
The GAP is a composite programme having a number of activities for physical, mental and intellectual development of children of 5 to 12 years. In Karimganj more than 200 students are studying under GAP.

5) Twice monthly medical checkup.

Free Coaching
Free Coaching service has started in the year 2018. Currently more than 150 students are studying in 4 centres situated at RKM Ashram Campus , Mahishashan; bazaricherra; Damcherra and Nunai.

Boy's Hostel
Ramakrishna Mission Karimganj opened Boy’s Hostel for students in the year 1917 when it was 1st established. The Boy’s Hostel houses students from classes 5 to 10.
Character Building
Apart from school activities and academic pursuits, the students are encouraged to nurture their skills in various fields of arts, music, and sports. Regular tuitions by experienced teachers are provided, to aid and compliment the students’ school progress. Interactive sessions with the help of Internet, and smart classes with the help of Projectors and presentations are also provided according to necessity.
The Hostel strives to maintain a cordial and harmonious balance between academics and overall character building and value inculcation, and pays attention to students individually, in the hope of securing a future for them which not only shall be prosperous but also shall be in sync with the ethics and moral framework of the society.

Our aim is not to deliver career-oriented professionals but to provide the country with citizens who will appreciate the cultural heritage of our Motherland, its Spiritual orientation, and thereby be a strong force in taking us forward, in holistic and confident strides.

Youth Cell
The Importance of spreading the message of Swami Vivekananda among the masses, particularly the youths, may hardly be overemphasized.
There is a great demand and ready acceptability to the life changing thoughts of Swamiji in India and abroad. Many Organizations and individual leaders peddle Swamiji’s thoughts as their own, more often distorted forms, to satisfy these demands. Young people are attracted to these organizations and leaders, in many cases, end up frustrated, and even lose all faith in religion and spirituality. As custodians of precious message, that is destined to mould the history of India, nay, the whole World, for better, it is our sacred responsibility to carry this message to the doorsteps of every young men and women in India. We have to be more stress, more systematic and more proactive to motivate the Youth.
Karimganj Youth Cell
Karimganj Youth Cell has started in March, 2023 with 48 members. The convener of the Youth Cell is Swami Ramabhadrananda ji
Our Aim
Swami Vivekananda placed forth the twin ideals of ‘Realization of the Self and Service of the World’ (आत्मनोमोक्षार्थं जगद्धिताय च). In accordance with these twin ideals, this Youth Cell is to help you, the youth, become enlightened and worthy citizens by providing healthy and wholesome food for your intellect, infused with moral and spiritual values and virtues.
It was Swamiji’s desire that the youth should have life-building, man-making, character-building education, and that they should stand up on their own feet and take up the responsibility. He has reposed great faith in the coming generations.
With the aim to impart Swamiji’s ideas of Human Excellence, however a small measure it be, a course under VYASSA has been designed especially for the youth.
Purpose
Purpose of the Youth Cell is:
- Character Building.
- Building a mentality to serve for the welfare of society.
- Live life with the concept of Be Good and Do Good.
- To create the dream Youth for the society in his word আশিষ্ঠ দ্রঢ়িষ্ঠ বলিষ্ঠ মেধাবী’

Vocational Centre
Under the Vocational Centre, Ramakrishna Mission is running a Tailoring Schools where Free Sewing and tailoring is taught to needy women to help them become independent financially.
After completion of this training, Ramakrishna Mission also provides Free Sewing Machine to start their own sewing business.
Admission Criteria
This Tailoring Schools is only for economically weaker women. Mandatory documents will be required for admission.
Course Period: 6 Month. After completion of the course certificate will be provided and among with that 1 sewing machine will be provided to each trainee.

Students' Scholarship
Ramakrishna Vivekananda Scholarship
Ramakrishna Mission has given scholarship to many students for a long time. However, Mission has officially announced the Scholarship program in the year 2023 to help the students for their higher education.
In 2023, under Ramakrishna Vivekananda Scholarship, 40 students has availed the scholarship from 20 School.
The Eligible students for Ramakrishna Vivekananda Scholarship is from Class IX to XII
Criteria
This scholarship is only for poor but meritorious students. All evaluation will be done by both School and mission before being qualified for the scholarship.
